bactrim is an antibiotic and chloroquine is for malaria. can i take both without them interfering with each other?

is it safe to take xanax and amitriptyline at the same time? I was prescribed amitriptyline for migraines and xanax for anxiety/insomnia. It says I am supposed to take both drugs before bed. Taking them together is safe right? Will there be any bad side effects if both drugs interact?
