I have several bottles of Bactrim because I get some what frequent UTIs. I have a toothache and will not be able to get in to see a dentist until the middle of next month. Is it possible to use the Bactrim to kill the infection in my tooth for the time being?
Will Bactrim have any effect on a tooth infection?

Went to my physician and received bactrim and a shot. He said if it formed a head it’d have to be lanced. Does the infection have to pop to get better or can the antibiotic prevent it from popping?

Can I use bactrim antibiotic for a tooth infection or penicillin for a bladder infection. Basically I had a tooth infection but its gone now, I have a bladder infection. I have run out of one antibiotic but have a lot of the other. So in the interim, can I use either and would they be equally effective?
and yes I realize I have to replace good bacteria in the gut that is lost when taking antibiotics, so I am taking acidophilus too.
Bactrim not working for my bladder infection, anyone else have this problem?

I still have back pain, stomach cramps, nausea, and it hurts when I pee, I’ve been on Bactrim for 4 days now, it seems like it should be working by now. Anyone else have this problem?

I am currently taking Bactrim SMZ/TMP for a sinus infection, i`ve been taking it for the past 3 day, and it feels like the infection is gone, but the Backtrim is causing me to get really bad nausea and dizziness.
Is there another anti-biotic I can switch to or is there any way to aviod the side-effects of the bactrim?

shes 4 yrs old has had 3 doses now she is coughing,has red itchy eyes and bright red cheeks. Do you think this could be a sign of an allergic reaction
Ive read into it to see and some of them seem like they could be allergy symptoms, Does anyone out there have a Bactrim allergy and if so what does it do to you. Thank you!
