I am already on 150 of Doxepin a day, and was prescribed 50 mg/day Amitriptyline for my muscle pain. They are both tricyclic antidepressants so is it ok to take them together? Also, my pain is pretty severe, so what dosage of Amitriptyline will I likely need for pain?
The same doctor prescribed both.
