is the “online medical question consult” the same as a getting a prescription from your doctor? Why do they ask for my your “local physican’s name, address & phone number? Are they actully they going to contact my doctor?

I wear contacts now and my year supply is almost gone. I don’t need them much (20/40 20/50), but would like a pair of glasses for around the house or out doors activities.
All I remember from my optometrist is that my prescription is -.75
Last time I was in there they did not say anything about me having astigmatism. I don’t know my PD (Pupil distance), but heard the average for adults is 63mm. I also am able to measure later.
I am in a location where I am unable to go to any optometrist, so that is why I’m here.
I’m just looking for some good, cheap online shops for glasses. So far I found this website that seems alright: http://www.zennioptical.com/product.php?productid=85&cat=&page=1
Do I have to get a lens fitting when buying contacts online or is just my prescription okay?
