I was recently treated with this drug for a UTI. After taking several doses I develed a couple of red spots on my vulva area with some slight blistering a little further below. My blood test came back negative for herpes but I wondered if anyone has has these side effects or reaction to this drug.
Has anyone out there had a reaction or side effect to the drug sulfameth / trimethoprim / generic for bactrim?

Which drug for UTI’s is better or would you rather feel safer taking. 250mg of Levaquin or Bactrim. The doctor at first prescribed me levaquin but that stuff is really exspensive since i have no insurance or bactrim which is free. I’ll pay for the other one if I have to but I would like someone elses opinion on which is safer.

can bactrim or amoxicillin work for an infection if you dont have flagyl?

My boyfriend cant afford no meds and i have some bactrum that my daughter was allergic too around the house… would it help him any????? or what about amoxicillin.

I know some people will say “it may decrease the effectiveness of the antibiotic” but thats BS I want an answer. I got the antibiotic for strep throat on Monday and tomorrow (Friday–4th of July!) I plan to drink. I don’t plan on drinking until I black out, but I do plan on drinking more than one. Is that safe?
I took my son to the doctor Monday and Dr. gave him Bactrim for cold and double ear infection?

So he has been on the anti-biotic for about 2 days now but he still is getting a fever if I don’t give him the Children’s Advil every 8 hours. I am wondering if Bactrim is the right anti-biotic for him to take for his ear infection and cold. If he is still running the fever in the morning should I take him back to the doctor even though hes on anti-biotic. I think a fever for 2 days straight is a little much for a 18 month old
