Can I use bactrim antibiotic for a tooth infection or penicillin for a bladder infection. Basically I had a tooth infection but its gone now, I have a bladder infection. I have run out of one antibiotic but have a lot of the other. So in the interim, can I use either and would they be equally effective?
and yes I realize I have to replace good bacteria in the gut that is lost when taking antibiotics, so I am taking acidophilus too.

I was just prescribed Bactrim for my cystic acne. I have to take it for 2 months. I am so nervous because I have read reviews on this drug. I have to take 2 tablets once a day.

I had sex with my boyfriend for the first time and I think he gave me trichomaniasis :/ I’m terrified. I am prone to infection though, so I have extra bactrim. I need to know if this will treat it, so I know whether or not I need to go to the doctors soon.

I am currently taking Bactrim SMZ/TMP for a sinus infection, i`ve been taking it for the past 3 day, and it feels like the infection is gone, but the Backtrim is causing me to get really bad nausea and dizziness.
Is there another anti-biotic I can switch to or is there any way to aviod the side-effects of the bactrim?

I was diagnosed with a bladder infection. One doctor prescribed me Bactrim and another doctor prescribed me with nitrofurantoin?
