Is it normal to have urine urgency while taking Bactrim?

I have been taking Bactrim for 3 days now due to Cellulitis caused by a staph infection. I didn’t have urine urgency until I started on the medicine. Is this normal and will it go away?

    You may have a urinary tract infection. Which the Bactrim will clear up. If the urine urgency persists for much longer, you should seek medical attention.

    I am actually going through the same thing. I’ve recently started Bactrim for bronchitis and i’ve been fine until last night. I was frequently getting up to urinate and today, as I am a teacher, I have been urinating between almost every class period.

    I tried looking this up but it seems that Bactrim causes you to urinate less. I
