I see they are cheaper than high street stores. You just enter your prescription. Are they a safe alternative to paying hundreds of pounds at Vision Express etc?

It may be cheaper, but no customer service. If they break how do you take care of any warranty? Do you have to send the glasses back and be without them while they are fixed? Also who will verify that they are actually correct? All of these things are handled at the opticians and are included in the price. Also if you need periodic adjustments (sat on, bent, etc) you can go right in and get it done locally.
